Coach Jason Tuttle

So you want to know about Coach Tuttle? I have so much to tell and so little space to do it in. I am a 30 year old, married, professional physical educator that absolutely loves what I do. I was born in Marinette, Wisconsin, which is just north of Green Bay. I have also lived in Washington State (outside of Seattle) and Alabama (Mobile and Montgomery) before I moved with my family to Peachtree City, Georgia. I am the youngest of three brothers. My brothers are five and six years older than me.

I have been married for several years. My wife works for a major cell phone company and loves what she does. My wife and I now have a son that was born on December 4, 2007. He is our world and, man, has life changed since he arrived. We have traveled many places in the United States and have even been overseas. So far, our favorite trip has been our church mission trip to Johannesburg, South Africa, and Maputo and Massinga, Mozambique.

I am sure that some of you will ask me if I always knew that I wanted to be a P.E. teacher. My answer to you would be "No". Are you surprised by that answer? I have always wanted to work with youth or children and I have had many people tell me that I work well with children. I decided that I wanted to go to school in Georgia and the University of West Georgia fit my needs. While I was at West Georgia, my mother came up to me one day and asked me what I wanted to get a degree in. I was unsure and told her that I didn't know. My mother suggested Physical Education. I thought about it for a while and it sounded like a wonderful idea. So I went to school and earned a degree in Health and Physical Education for Grades K-12.

I have had many jobs in my life. I have worked as a salesperson, on a Christmas tree lot, in a women's clothing store, at the airport for Delta Airlines, and now as a P.E. teacher at Cleveland Elementary. I would say, without a doubt, that my job as a P.E. teacher has certainly been the most rewarding, loving, and fulfilling job that I have ever had. I have been here for four years and it has been a learning process along the way, but I would not change it for the world. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all of the students that have come into the gym. My goal is not to make professional athletes,  but rather, children who are fit and healthy throughout life.

Thank you for reading the page about me. I appreciate your time and interest. Have a wonderful day and feel free to contact me at anytime.

Sincerely,

Coach Jason Tuttle
