Mrs. Douthard's 5th Grade Classroom

                       

I will be teaching Science and Reading along with Math on the 5th grade team. Our 5th grade team consists of myself, Mrs. Phillips, Mrs. Dowis and Mr. Howe.  My team partner is Mrs. Katy Phillips. She will be teaching my homeroom Social Studies and  Language Arts. All of us will teaching Math using the Math Compacting model.

During the year, we will work together to create exciting projects and build our content knowledge and experiences with technology. We will use the Internet, digital cameras, scanners, and presentation software to share our ideas and information. We will use other applications for word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets and graphs.
