Class Time

I teach Reading/ELA, Science/Health and Math on the 5th grade team. Our 5th grade team consists of myself, Mrs. Phillips, Mrs. Dowis and Mrs. Baxter.  My team partner is Mrs. Baxter. She will be teaching my homeroom Social Studies.

We all work together to create exciting projects that will build content knowledge and provide experiences with technology. We use the Internet, digital cameras, scanners, and presentation software to share ideas and information. We use many other applications for word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets and graphs.

My Vision

As a teacher, I am committed to creating a nurturing, enriching, safe student centered environment. With encouragement, I will empower each student to take responsibility for becoming a life-long learner and productive citizen. With respect, I will listen to them about their feelings and ideas.
